Frequently Asked Questions about ordering your Card or Invitation

Can you send me a sample?

We sure can! All you need to do is complete the Contact Sunrise form. Don't forget to include your address and the style of card you would like.

What type of photographs do you accept?

Digital Camera

  • Take your photos at the highest resolution. This will ensure the quality of the image produced. Images with a low resolution will have a significant reduction in quality. These are typically images that are smaller than 300kb.
  • Do not crop or edit the digital images you send us. If required we will do this as part of the design.

Professionally Taken Photographs

  • Professional photos can be used on the condition that the Photographer provides written permission. We will also include the photographers name on the reverse of the card.

Scanning Images yourself

  • Scan your images at a minimum of 300 dpi.
  • Do not crop or edit your scanned images.

Printed Photographs

We accept printed photographs. These will be returned to you along with your order. When selecting the photographs to use, ensure the image is sharp. Photos taken in a well lit situation will give the best result.

Images we do not accept

We do not accept Negatives or photos printed on ink jet printers.

What type of photos are preferred?

Digital photos should be taken at the highest resolution and in the finest quality setting. The photograph should be taken with a camera of at least 3 megapixels. Please do not crop or edit the photos prior to sending them.

How are the cards printed?

Cards are digitally printed using the latest technology in commercial printers, we do not use a home computer.

What type of paper are the cards printed on?

The gsm on the paper is 300 gsm. It is is a high quality A2 offset grade. The paper has a good colour representation.

What is the Order Process?

Ordering is easy:

  • Select the design
  • Enter Quantity
  • Customise your Card
    - Enter Text, select Images and Upload Order
  • Complete Order
    - Secure payment through Paypal
  • Upon receipt of payment, we create a proof which is emailed to you for approval
  • You approve the proof (after any requested changes are made)
  • Your card is printed and delivered to you

What is the processing time?

Upon receipt of the order and payment we begin the design process of creating your proof. This takes approximately 3 working days (during the Christmas period this may be longer).

After you have approved the proof, it will be approximately 5 to 7 working days for the order to be ready to be delivered.

Does my order include envelopes?

Yes all cards and invitations include envelopes unless it specifically says that it is not included in the description.

Can I cancel an order?

If work has not commenced on your order, the order can be cancelled. If however, work has commenced on the card no refunds will be given.

What if there is an error with my order?

If the error is our mistake, the order will be reprinted at no charge.

However if the error is made by the customer, the card or invitation will be printed at the customers cost. Errors include:

  • Incorrect information entered during the order process
  • Receiving and approving of a proof containing an error, regardless of the text that has been entered.

It is the customers' responsibility to ensure all wording and layout is correct prior to approving the proof for printing.
