What Wording to Include on Your Christmas Card

What to write on your personalised photo Christmas Card! It is a great way to update family and friends, particularly those living far away with what you have done this year and plan to do next year

I think one of the most important tips would be to write your message as though you are talking to them. This makes it less formal and more personable.

Below is a list of things your may wish to include on your Christmas Card:

  • Purpose of the Card, i.e. a Merry Christmas message
  • The year
    If you are sending a personalised on with photos, you can bet that your Christmas Card will be kept or put into a photo album. Including the year is great when people look back at them;
  • A summary of what you did through the year:
    For example: Holidays, Sporting Achievements, Moving House;
  • What your plans are for the following year:
    For example: Holidays, Studies, High School, Having Babies;
  • A wish for the people who will be receiving the card.

As far as the style of writing, the points below all play a part:

  • Your personality:
    Why, you ask? An outgoing person would write something different to a more conservative one
  • Who it is from?
    Is it from a family, child or a business group;
  • Do you want to include a handwritten note, as well as have a pre-printed message?
  • Who are you sending the Christmas Card to?

Now that you know what information to include in your Christmas Card, we welcome you to browse through our Christmas Card Designs. Alternatively, contact us as we can work together to choose the perfect design.
